Mr. Nirajan Gauli was appointed as the Honorary Consul of Nepal to Victoria on June 24, 2024, a role that he has embraced with great dedication and responsibility. A Civil Engineer by profession, Mr. Gauli brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to community service. His involvement in the Nepalese community in Australia has been marked by exceptional leadership and a tireless drive to make a positive impact.

Nirajan’s journey is one of passion and purpose. As a key figure in various community organizations such as NRNA Australia, ANMC, and Australia Nepal Public Link Inc., he has spearheaded numerous initiatives that address critical issues faced by the community. His efforts in organizing programs on Road Safety for New Arrivals, Pedestrian Safety, Vehicle Awareness, Suicide Prevention, and Mental Health training have been instrumental in supporting both the Nepalese and broader Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities in Victoria.

Beyond his community work, Mr. Gauli is also a successful entrepreneur, running a thriving Civil Construction Company. His ability to balance professional excellence with community service speaks to his leadership and vision. Mr Gauli is humble, dedicated, and energetic individual, whose greatest strength lies in his strong family values. He is supported by his wife, Jyoti Simkhada, a respected health professional, and together they are proud parents to their three children, Nirjala, Jenisha, and Aarjan.

Mr. Gauli’s appointment as Honorary Consul is a reflection of his unwavering commitment to the Nepalese community and his belief in the power of collective effort to drive meaningful change.
